Global Teacher Recruitment Coordinator (International) Climate Education Nonprofit

Overview

Take Action Global is seeking a highly driven and well-connected Global Teacher Recruitment Coordinator to lead educator outreach and recruitment efforts across key target regions. Priority areas include countries in Asia, the Middle East, and South America. Candidates do not need experience in all regions, but must bring strong educator networks or a proven recruitment track record in at least one of these target areas. 

This is a full-time, remote role with occasional travel.

Key responsibilities

  1. Teacher recruitment and pipeline growth
  • Lead the full recruitment cycle for teachers and schools in your region(s) of expertise
  • Host and facilitate webinars, virtual open houses, and online information sessions to attract and convert educators at scale
  • Develop recruitment funnels and outreach campaigns tailored to specific countries and contexts
  • Expand and maintain a strong, sustainable pipeline of educator leads from at least one target region
  1. Network expansion and regional partnerships
  • Build and strengthen relationships with Ministries of Education, NGOs, school networks, teacher associations, and regional partners
  • Leverage your regional experience or contacts to increase participation and referrals
  • Attend or represent TAG at virtual education conferences and community events that align with your regional focus
  1. Program coordination and localization
  • Onboard new teachers and schools efficiently through virtual sessions, resource sharing, and personalized support
  • Work with internal teams to localize program materials based on cultural and linguistic requirements in your region(s)
  1. Monitoring, reporting, and optimization
  • Track webinar engagement, lead generation, and conversion metrics for your assigned region(s)
  • Provide clear reporting and recommendations to improve recruitment strategies
  • Adjust tactics based on data, educator feedback, and changing regional needs
  1. Communications and outreach
  • Create region-specific outreach content, webinar slide decks, and recruitment messaging
  • Share regional success stories to strengthen community trust and referrals
  • Support global recruitment campaigns with insights from your regional expertise

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, International Development, Communications, or related fields
  • 3-5+ years of experience in teacher recruitment or educational outreach in at least one target region
  • Existing networks or strong familiarity with educator communities in your region(s) of expertise 
  • Demonstrated ability to run high-impact webinars, virtual sessions, and recruitment campaigns
  • Fluency in local language(s) and strong presentation and facilitation skills and proficiency with digital outreach and presentation tools
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote, multicultural environment
  • Passion for global education, climate literacy, and social impact
