Education Partnership Lead (U.S.) – Climate Education Nonprofit
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Education Partnerships Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with U.S. schools, districts, and partners to expand the reach and impact of our climate education programs. This role requires a proactive and engaging individual who can effectively communicate the value of our initiatives and drive program adoption.
Full-time and part-time opportunities. Remote position with occasional travel. High-speed broadband access required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage with potential school districts, individual schools, and educational partners to promote our climate education programs.
- Develop and execute partnership strategies to achieve organizational goals and expand our reach within the educational sector.
- Conduct presentations, workshops, and meetings to showcase our programs and their benefits to prospective partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with educators, administrators, and other key stakeholders.
- Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners, foundations, government agencies, and other nonprofits.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and distribute promotional materials and campaigns.
- Track and report on partnership activities, progress, and outcomes to senior management.
- Stay informed about industry trends and climate education developments.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in partnership development, sales, or outreach in the U.S. K12 education sector.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and develop opportunities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education, environmental science, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Passionate about climate education and environmental sustainability with a commitment to making a positive impact.
